The Next Laugh
Held in Melbourne during the 18th Melbourne International Comedy Festival, the Conference is seeking entries for The Next Laugh  Screen Comedy Competition.

The Next Laugh will showcase twelve of the best new screen comedy projects. The creators will be able to perform their work before a jury of film and television producers and network executives. These are all influential people who are in a position to take your project further.

The closing date for entries The Next Laugh is 9am Friday 20 February: Finalists announced Tuesday 16 March 2004.

The Great Wall of Comedy
Everyone who enters The Next Laugh will have a full colour A3 poster of their project displayed on The Great Wall of Comedy during the Conference. Over the three days of the Conference, hundreds of people will see this display.

To design your poster and insert your project into The Great Wall of Comedy, go to the link and follow the instructions.

You will be required to upload a six-line synopsis of your project, a brief bio and your contact details. You can also upload graphics. Your project will be displayed on the Conference website, making it easy for producers to contact you directly if they like what they see.
